For those who do not know the story of how Harold and I met, I have decided to share this article I wrote just two days before our wedding four years ago on Oct. 10th, 2015 (that was edited by Dorothy Wilson and published in her magazine, Gulf Coast Women’s Magazine for the Nov./Dec 2015 issue). It was a very bold stance for me to take to publicly share our commitment to remain celibate during our courtship and my personal commitment to remain celibate for 16 years prior to my first wedding at age 61..!! It was the official beginning of our public ministry together as husband and wife and it was commemorated with this article that got published in a mainstream media publication..!! Thank you, Dorothy, for having the courage to publish my article..!! Looking back, I can’t help but see that there is a strong correlation between Harold and I honoring God’s laws about abstaining before marriage and God blessing our music ministry..!! Nothing else makes sense..!! All the way through the Bible there are countless examples that illlustrate this simple yet profound truth…God rewards obedience..!! Thank You Jesus..!!
